Catholic Schools Week 2012  Day 1: January 30, 2012 – The students went to St. Francis today wearing their crazy socks and ties. Spelling Bee for little children (K – 4th) was held in the morning at the auditorium. This year marks the first time the Kindergarten and 1st graders join the said contest. In the afternoon, grades 3rd, 4th, and 5th battled it out in our annual “Are You Smarter than a 3rd, 4th, or 5th Grader“, patterned after a popular quiz show.

January 28, 2012: Catholic Schools Week 2012 officially begins at St. Francis Academy. The event opened with the celebration of the Holy Mass at the school chapel. A Pasta Dinner Reception  followed at the school cafeteria.

St. Francis Academy will be observing the annual Catholic Schools Week (CSW) from January 28 to February 3, 2012. This year’s theme “Catholic Schools – Faith. Academics. Service” focuses on three priorities that Catholic schools establish that make them stand out from other educational institutions. (Full CSW 2012 Press Release)

We will be hosting an OPEN HOUSE on February 1st, 2012 from 9AM – 11AM.
