Holy Communion and May Crowning 2011

The month of May is a blessed month in St. Francis Academy because of these two religious activities: The First Holy Communion of the 2nd Graders and The May Crowning (Crowning of the Virgin Mary).

On May 21, 2011 – 2nd Graders received the Body of Christ for the first time at Sts. Joseph and Michael Church.
On May 26, 2011 – 2nd Graders led the entire school in the Crowning of the Virgin Mary.

First Holy Communion and May Crowning 2010

On May 27, 2010, Ms. Hogan’s 2nd grade students received their First Holy Communion at the school chapel. In the afternoon, the entire school body honored the Blessed Virgin Mary during our annual May Crowning.

May 16, 2009 – 2nd Graders received the Body of Christ for the first time at Sts. Joseph and Michael Church.

May 2009 Updates

The month of May has been an a busy one for St. Francis Academy. Before the 2nd Graders received their Holy Communion, some of our Grade 7 students won in the Scholastic Olympics. We also had our Mother’s Day Sale, and we had a lot of fun in our Walkathon a week after.
