St. Francis Academy

Students from Grades 5 – 8 voluntarily fasted each Thursday of the Lenten season in solidarity with the poor throughout our world. These students discussed matters affecting the poor and marginalized. A successful food drive was organized raising over 1,400 cans and boxes of food. Congratulations to the Kindergarten class, they collected over 240 items.

After the week-long standarized testing (Terranova), St. Francis Academy resumes its regular academic schedule. But just before the Terranova, we’ve been working hard, and it shows.

Each morning one of our classes attends Mass at Sts. Joseph and Michael Church at 830 AM. Students and teachers leave for Mass no later than 8:15 AM. If a novena or the rosary is being said when they enter the church, children participate.
