May 11, 2012 – The weather –sunny and breezy – was perfect for our 6th Annual Walkathon. Supervised by the teachers and volunteer parents, the students walked several blocks chanting “SFA is the best!” before reaching the playground of Jose Marti.

November 19, 2011 – North Arlington, NJ – Team “Brain Train” placed first in 8th grade Jeopardy Competition at Queen of Peace High School, triumphing over 20 teams from various schools in Hudson and Bergen Counties. Nov. 7 & 9, 2011 – Grades 6th, 7th, and 8th students wrote their own scripts and portrayed a saint’s life with the supervision of their teachers. The plays were acted out in the auditorium in front of the Franciscan sisters, students, and parents. |
