Alexandra Ruiz receives her Certificate of Merit from the Knights of Columbus

January 12 – The annual Santa Rosa de Lima Knights of Columbus essay contest was held the first week of November 2009. The theme was: “How Can I Serve My Community When I am an Adult?”

Alexandra Ruiz of Grade 8 won the first place.

The finalists were:

• Brielle Liotta – 8th Grade
• Giovanni Giacchi – 8th Grade
• Elizabeth Doody – 7th Grade
• Anamaria Carrasco – 7th Grade
• Jenny Quispe – 7th Grade
