St. Francis Academy

St. Francis Academy will be observing the annual Catholic Schools Week (CSW) from January 29 to February 4, 2011. This year’s theme is “A+ for America Catholic Schools” which celebrates the fact that Catholic schools are an added value (“a plus”) for the nation . (Full CSW 2010 Press Release)

We will be hosting an OPEN HOUSE on February 2nd, 2011 from 9AM – 11AM.

9:00 AM – 110:00 AM – Science Circus – PK – 3 @9:00AM; Gr 4th – 8th @10:00AM
12:30 PM – Spelling Bee – Grades 2-8 (Auditorium) and Little Brother Little Sister Hour – Grades Pre-K – K (Classroom)

Tuesday, February 1st:

10:00 AM – 12:00 PM – Grandparents Luncheon – Grades PK – 2 (Cafeteria & Auditorium)
1:00 PM- Math Bee – Grades 5-8 (Auditorium)

Wednesday, February 3rd:

9:00 AM – 11:00 AM – OPEN HOUSE
12:30 PM – 2:00 PM – 6th & 7th Jeopardy – Grades 6-7 (Auditorium)
2:30 PM – 3:30 PM – Family Rosary (Chapel)

Thursday, February 3rd: Favorite College Sweatshirt or T-Shirt over uniform – 2 donations for Sts. Joseph & Michael Pantry

9:30 AM – Are You Smarter than a 3rd, 4th, or 5th Grader? – Grades 3-5 (Auditorium)
11:00 AM – Chinese New Year – Grades PK – 2 (Cafeteria)
1:00 PM – Recital – Grades 3 and Up (Auditorium)

Friday, February 4th: 12:00 PM Dismissal – NO AFTERCARE

9:30 AM – Closing Mass (Chapel)
10:30 AM – Awards Ceremony – all (auditorium)
NO GYM – Regular School Uniform
