    The way a crow
    Shook down on me
    The dust of snow
    From a hemlock tree

    Has given my heart
    A change of mood
    And saved some part
Of a day I had rued.

    Looking back through the years,
    I can’t believe how long
    We have been best friends,
    Through good times and bad.

When I needed someone to cry,
    With me and laugh together
Give me a shoulder to lean on,
And a hug to make me feel better.

You know how true it is,
When you know that no matter what
Happens or goes on down the road,
That there will always be best friends.

So as time passes and days go by,
Just remember that when you need me
That no matter what time or place,
I will always be there by your side, my best friend.

    Early Bird
Oh if you’re a bird, be an early bird
And catch the worm for your breakfast plate
If you’re a bird, be an early early bird
But if you’re a worm sleep late

    I Can’t Wait For Summer
I can’t for summer when school days are done,
to spent the days playing outside in the sun.
I won’t have to study  no homework no tests.
Just afternoons spent on adventures and quests.
I hardly can wait for the end of the year.
I’m counting the days until summer is here.
It’s hard to be patient. It’s hard to be cool.
It’s are to believe it’s the 1st day of school.

    “Just like me”
“I went up one pair of stairs.”
    “Just like me.”
    “I went into a room.”
    “Just like me.”
“I looked out of a window.”
    “Just like me.”
“And there I saw a monkey.”
    “Just like me.”

If you tell me the wild boar
Has twenty teeth, I’ll say, “Why sure.”
Or say that he has thirty three,
That number is quite all right with me
Or scream that he has ninety-nine
I’ll never say that you are lyin’,
    For the number of teeth
    In a wild boar’s mouth
    Is a subject i’m glad
    I know nothing about.

My Birthday is on St.Patrick’s Day
My Birthday is on St.Patrick’s Day
I wore no green at all
And got pinched from every kid
who passed me in the hall
You  get ” a pinch to grow an inch”
    whenever birthday’s fall
I guess they must have worked
    because I’m 39 feet tall

She’s coming the farmer said to the owl. Oh what shall i, what shall i do? Shall bow when she comes should I twiddle my thumbs? The owl asked who. The queen, the queen, the royal queen she’d passed the farm today. Shall I salute he asked the horse? The horse said nay. Shall I give her a gift? he ask the horse. A lovely memento for her to keep. An egg, a peach, or an ear of a corn? The chick said cheap. Or should I crusty or should I cheer oh here is her carriage now. What shall iI do? he asked the dog. the dog said bow. And so she did and so she passed. Oh tra la la la la.She smiled she did. He told the sheep. The sheep said baah.

Fireflies in the Garden by: Robert Frost
Here come real stars to fill the upper skies,
And here on earth come emulating flies,
That though they never equal stars in size,
(And they were never really stars at heart)
Achieve at times a very star-like start.
Only, of course, they can’t sustain the part.

    There was once
    a boy named
    Kurt
    who wanted to eat
    his shirt
    his mom said he couldn’t
    so then he
    wouldn’t
    so he decided
    to eat
    some dirt

    SLOW DANCE

    you better slow.
    don’t dance so fast.
time is short the music wont last.
when you run so fast fast to get somewhere,
you miss half the fun getting there.
when you hurry and worry through the day,
its like an unopened gift thrown away.
    you better slow down.
    dont dance so fast.
    time is short.
    let the music last.

    It is foolish to relax
    sprawled across the railroad tracks
you will surely find out why
when the next express rolls by.

    Nature’s Way
When new trees and flowers grow that’s nature’s way of saying new life. Nature’s hands create the trees, grass, bushes, and colorful flowers. Nature’s way is beautiful to see. As they grow the winds flow, we are also protectors of nature.

    Never,Never,Disagree
    never,never, disagree with  the

    Samantha’s Desk

she finally cleaned her desk it’s been messy everyday ,but on this particular day she cleaned it all the way. it was a very tragic desk but she finally cleaned her mess. There were monsters and snakes that were coming out of that desk. So she used her giant water shooter and washed the dirty away.

My Car is Constructed of Pickles

My car is constructed of pickles.
    It’s wonderfully crunchy and sweet.
If ever I’m hungry while driving
I pull off a pickle to eat.

The engine is made out of gherkins.
    The dashboard’s an extra-large dill.
The windows and wipers are kosher
as well as the bumpers and grille.

The hood’s made of hamburger slices.
The gas tank is brimming with brine.
    The doors are delectably salty.
    The stickshift is simply divine.

There’s one little problem I’m having.
I’m sure you would know what I mean
    if ever you saw this contraption;
    my marvelous pickle machine.

I guess I’ve included my auto
in just a few too many meals
    and now it won’t budge when I start it;
it seems I have eaten the wheels.

    Ourchestra By: Shel Silverstein
So you haven’t any drums, just beat your belly
So I haven’t got a horn- I’ll play my nose
So we haven’t any cymbals – we’ll just slap our hands together
And though there may be orchestras
    That sound a little better
    With their fancy shiny instruments
    That cost an awful lot-
Hey we’re making music twice as good
    By  playing what we’ve got!

    The Toughest Boys in School
    by Bob Woodroffe

Don’t mess with us! Don’t be a fool!
We are the toughest boys in school.
So if you meet us–best behave.
We’re big and strong and very brave.
Though I admit it’s true to say
That we’ve been known to run away
From kids at school who call us names,
Who laugh at us and spoil our games.
‘Cause even though we boys play rough,
The girls in school are twice as tough.

    The Worm

As I walk home from school I find a worm
Wow what a cool thing it’s fat and it’s brown
It looks like it is wearing a gown. I think I will name it Mat.
I go home to show mom what I caught  I do not think she liked it a lot

    Humpty’s Big Fall

Humpty Dumpty sat in a tree.
Humpty Dumpty got stung by a bee.
He fell out and hit his head,
and now he thinks his name is “Fred.”

    My Dog is Running Faster

    My dog is running faster
    than he’s ever run before
    in a supersonic circle
in the middle of the floor.

    He started somewhat slowly
    but he quickly gathered steam,
    and continued gaining speed
    until his spinning was extreme.

    He’s turned into a whirlwind,
like a funnel cloud of fog,
so it’s hard to even focus on
    my whirling dervish dog.

    He’s like a small tornado
    or a canine hurricane.
Why it doesn’t make him dizzy
    I’m unable to explain.

I only know he has this
    most unusual of traits,
and he loves to chase his tail around
    while wearing roller skates.

    Friends
Written with a pen, sealed with a kiss,
If you are my friend, please answer me this:
Are we friends, or are we not?
You told me once, but i forgot.
So tell me now, and tell me true,
So I can say I’m here for you
Of all the friends I’ve ever met,
    You’re the one I won’t forget
And if I die before you do,
I’ll go to heaven and wait for you,
I’ll give the angels back their wings
and risk the loss of everything
    There isn’t a thing I wouldn’t do
To have a friend just like you.
